12th September 2014: Tour of Britain Cycle Race - Crowds out to see a stage of the Tour of Britain cycle race passing through the town. Leading three riders include stage-winner Matthias Brandle, and Alex Dowsett who took over the yellow jersey (lead of the race). The peleton included Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish. The first picture of the peleton was used for the cover of the Hungerford Calendar, and appeared in other publications.
