19 Apr 2015: Constable Sunday - the parade and service - special feature this year was a good turn out of youth groups at the Constable's request.
23 Mar 2015: Mayor's Reception - held in the clubhouse at the Triangle Field this year. Pics are from the event to mark the completion of its rebuilding with the financial support of local benefactors.

26 Apr 2015: Litter Pick - The working party assembled by Town Council to tidy up litter in and around the town.
Apr 2015: Crescent and Star - I was asked by the Town & Manor to collect a gallery of images of the town's 'Crescent and Star' badge - Robert James was working on a case to establish intellectual property rights for the use of the image in relation to the town of Hungerford.

24 May 2015: Retirement of Rev Andrew Sawyer - Event to mark the retirement of the Vicar of St Lawrence's Church after 25 years of service.
7 Jul 2015: Big Wheel - Charity cycle ride - started on the Common but I caught up with riders between Bedwyn and Savernake forest.
21 Jun 2015: Hungerford Hares' public 8km race - Pictures of Hungerford Hares' 8km race on a circular course from the Traingle Field. I'm located near Templeton and caught the first three mens event runners towards the end of the race.
27 Jun 2015: Armed Forces Day - Ceremonial for Armed Forces day at the RBL premises - lowering of the standards, the 'last post' and wreath laying by the TC, T&M and the RBL.
28 Jun 2015: Mayor's Cricket Match - A social cricket match by invitation of the Mayor - I was invited … to take the photographs!
1 Jul 2015: Presentation to James Cooper RSM 6 REME - on his retirement to mark his role in cementing the relationship between the regiment and the town.
18 Jul 2015: Hungerford in Bloom Competition - Winners in the Hungerford in Bloom competition from the residential and commerical categories, and exotic trees from Dr. Hope's garden to celebrate his special award.

29 Nov 2015: Christmas Lights switch on - The Christmas Lights were turned on this year by Charlie Austin who grew up locally and now plays football professionally for the Southampton club in the Premiership.

20 Dec 2015: Mayor's Carol Service - The usual well-attended Town Carol Service - with the Mayor sporting some seasonal knitwear!
Trains - Selection from my large collection of railway images showing interesting and colourful trains which passed through Hungerford during the year on the GWR main line to the SW. We had 10 steam trains in a year when the main steam operator nearly lost its license - when the first of these passed a signal at danger later in its run, fortunately without disastrous consequences.
