Consider alternative spellings for everything! If you are looking for trades, note that you may find "plumber" often spelt "plummer", or "maltster" spelt "malster" in 18th century documents.

25th March 2016: Procession of Witness - The Good Friday Procession of Witness into the Town. This procession takes place each year on Good Friday after the Liturgy service where everyone from the church walks to the Town Hall to read the Passion. The wooden cross is carried to the town with the congregation following from St Lawrence's Church and we meet the other churches on the Town Hall steps. The other churches also have a cross each, so the three wooden crosses come together at the Town Hall, matching the three crucifixions on Good Friday.
